Merts serves the south Chicagoland, including portions of Cook County and Will County, IL. We also serve the people of Lake County, IN which stretches from Lake Michigan in the north to the Kankakee River in the south.

Let’s be very clear, nothing is going to magically make a furnace rated as 60% efficient work like one that is 90% efficient. But the best way to make sure your heating and cooling systems are working as efficiently as possible is with regular maintenance. Your furnace and air conditioner should be inspected and tuned-up every year.

The national average is a little more than 13 years. Some will last longer, and some will need to be replaced earlier. Just like a car or truck, regular maintenance and following the manufacturer’s recommendations will help heating and cooling equipment last longer.

Nearly all installations can be completed in a single day. There are exceptions if the project is particularly complicated, but those are things our installers know about in advance. The time frame will always be discussed with you before the work starts.

Yes, Merts has several financing options and will work with you to determine what’s best in your situation. Our experts will also help you get all available rebates from the manufacturer and/or your utility company. There may also be tax incentives for certain energy efficient systems.
